Responded to the allegations of Harak Singh Rawat: Recently, Harak Singh Rawat had alleged that BJP has made an FD of Rs 30 crore to run the party. He too had given one crore rupees for that FD while being in BJP. For this, he had taken cheques of ten lakh rupees each from the mining businessmen of Haldwani and Udham Singh Nagar.
Harak Singh Rawat said that at that time he himself was the Forest Minister and Trivendra Rawat was in the Chief Minister’s chair. Harak Singh Rawat had in a way accused the BJP of extorting money. However, when Trivendra Singh Rawat was questioned in this matter, he said that everything has been cleared.
