Uttarkashi district is facing the brunt of disaster these days. Due to the disaster in Dharali and Syanachatti of the district, life has been disrupted. In view of which CM Dhami visited Uttarkashi district today. During this, CM Dhami reached Syanachatti. Where CM Dhami did a field inspection of the rescue and relief operations going on in the disaster affected areas. During this, the CM also met the disaster victims. At the same time, he assured everyone of all possible help.

CM Dhami said that there has been heavy damage in the state due to rain these days. He mentioned Tharali, Pauri, Pithoragarh. CM Dhami said that the state has suffered a lot in this monsoon. He said that the government is assessing the disasters in the state. CM Dhami said that our institutions are studying the causes of these disasters. After which more work will be done to prevent them.

CM Dhami said that wherever there has been a disaster in the state, he himself reaches ground zero. Also, SDRF, NDRF and district administration are on the spot. He said that every possible help will be provided to the disaster affected. He said that the government stands with the disaster victims at all times.

CM Dhami said that we have had a relationship with struggles. We all have to fight these disasters together. CM Dhami said that efforts are being made to deal with disasters on a war footing. For which guidelines are being issued to the officials from time to time. Damage due to disasters is being assessed. Disaster affected people are also being helped.

CM Dhami said that in the disaster affected areas, instructions have already been given to the District Magistrates to immediately release assistance of Rs 5 lakh for damaged houses to the affected people. Instructions have also been given to immediately provide assistance of Rs 5 lakh to the families of the deceased.

On the other hand, relief and rescue work is also going on in full swing in the disaster affected areas of Uttarkashi. After the Dharali-Harsil disaster, the administration is continuously sending ration and essential relief material to the affected areas through MI-17 from Chinyalisaur airstrip and helicopter from Matli helipad. The Uttarkashi district administration is constantly monitoring the situation.
