However, on hearing the news of Manish Bhola’s arrest, people of the Valmiki community gathered in large numbers outside the Ganganahar Kotwali, their crowd remained gathered outside the police station till late night.
People created ruckus on arrest of councilor: They were sent back after being pacified by police officers. After questioning the councilor, STF inspector Nand Kishore Bhatt gave a complaint to Ganganahar Kotwali police. Used the name of Praveen Valmiki: It is alleged that these people are forming an organized criminal gang in Roorkee and Haridwar area and are doing illegal business of buying and selling by occupying their lands by threatening to kill people in the name of Praveen Valmiki. When this matter was investigated, it came to light that a woman Rekha (wife of late Shyam Bihari resident of village Sunhara) was also pressurized and her land was sold.
Rekha’s brother-in-law was murdered in 2018: Rekha’s husband died in 2014 and much of his property is located in Roorkee’s Sunhara village. It is stated in the complaint that Manish Boler, Rajkumar and their other associates pressured Rekha to transfer the land in their name. And if she sells the land to someone else, the result will not be good. It is alleged that when Rekha’s brother-in-law Krishna Gopal opposed this, Praveen Valmiki got Krishna Gopal shot dead by his shooters in 2018.

In this case also, a case was registered against Manish Boler and others.
Rekha left the house out of fear: After this incident, Rekha left her house out of fear and started living at an unknown place. Taking advantage of this, Praveen Valmiki, Manish Boler and other members of his gang made a plan to sell Rekha’s land in a fraudulent manner.
Fake power of attorney was made: Praveen Valmiki and Manish Boler along with their associates showed a woman as Rekha. After this, using the death certificate of Rekha’s husband, a power of attorney was made in the name of Pankaj Kumar Ashtwal, resident of village Sunhara, through a fake woman. After this, two plots were sold with this power of attorney.
Attempt to sell Rekha’s land in a fraudulent manner: After this, Gurmeet Kaur and Najma (husband Nadeem) gave a complaint letter to the police. Both told in their complaint that they had contacted Manish Boler and Rajkumar to buy the land, the deal for which was fixed for a total of Rs 80 lakh. During the registration, these people paid Rs 12 lakh in cash and the remaining amount was decided to be paid through cheque. However, when they realised that they were being cheated, they stopped the cheque and did not take the land. After this, a plot (about 6 thousand 166 square feet) located in Shyam Nagar Colony of Roorkee was registered in the name of Ishtiyak (son of Zafar) and Gulfam (son of Fayaz, resident of village Madhopur Kotwali Ganganahar Roorkee) for about Rs 58 lakh.
Manish’s name came up in the whole game: In another similar case, this gang made Nidhi (wife of Rajneesh) as Meenakshi Jaisia and sold a plot to Vicky (son of Mahesh) and Sandeep (son of Asaram). This is the same woman who was earlier made a fake Rekha. After this, on investigating this registration, it was revealed that where Meenakshi’s name was used, the mobile number there belonged to Manish Bowler.
Rekha was constantly getting threats: STF’s investigation also revealed that in the last 2-3 months (July-August), Praveen Valmiki and Manish Boler along with their men have been constantly threatening Rekha (wife of late Shyam Bihari) and her children. They are also being threatened with death.
