Uttarakhand: Government’s action amid rain and landslides, know how many roads have been opened so far, CM shared the information
Disaster management and relief work are going on at a war footing in the state. The work of opening the roads obstructed due to continuous heavy rains and landslides is going on at a fast pace.
1747 roads of the state made smooth: CM
Sharing the information, CM Dhami said that so far 1747 roads have been made smooth, while work is in progress on 80 roads. That is, till now traffic has been restored on 95.62 percent of the routes. The CM said that wherever there was a possibility of debris, JCB machines and resources were already deployed there.
Action should be taken immediately as soon as the roads are closed: CM
The CM had given clear instructions to the officials that action should be started immediately as soon as the road is closed. The result was that the roads are opening fast in the affected areas and the general public is getting great relief. The CM said that he himself is inspecting the disaster affected areas and regular review of relief and rescue operations is also being done.
