Intermittent rain continues in Uttarakhand. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert for seven districts including Dehradun.

According to the forecast issued by the Director of Meteorological Department Vikram Singh, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Dehradun, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Champawat and Udham Singh Nagar districts on 31 August 2025. Orange alert has been issued for these districts.

Weather will remain bad in Uttarakhand till September 3

If meteorologists are to be believed, heavy to very heavy rains in Uttarakhand till September 3 can increase the problems of the people. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be a red alert in Dehradun, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh and Nainital districts on September 1, while moderate to heavy rains may occur in the remaining districts as well.
