Uttarakhand: CM inaugurated ‘Saathi Kendra’ in Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Government Post Graduate College

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday inaugurated the “Saathi Kendra” at Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Government Post Graduate College in Khatima in collaboration with IIT Kanpur. During this, the CM said that the quality of education is the foundation of the development of any country.
CM inaugurated ‘Saathi Kendra’ in Khatima
CM Dhami said in his address that the National Education Policy 2020 launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a historic step in this direction. The CM said that under “Project Saathi”, students across the country are getting online guidance from professors of IIT and I.I.S.C. CM said that preparation for engineering, medical, banking and other competitive examinations has now become easier for rural and remote students as well.
Students will get offline coaching facility
Chief Minister Dhami said that 80 students will get offline coaching and mentoring facility at Khatima center. Today, more than 15 lakh students across the country have benefited from “Project Saathi”, including about 29 thousand students from Uttarakhand. The Chief Minister said that the state government is continuously working to modernize education, establish new colleges and encourage research.
