According to the forecast issued by the Director of Meteorological Department Vikram Singh, there are chances of heavy rains in the capital Dehradun, Haridwar, Pauri and Tehri districts on September 1. In view of which a red alert has been issued for these districts. While there will be a yellow alert for heavy rain in the remaining districts.

260 roads of the state closed

After the forecast of the Meteorological Department, the government and administration have come on alert mode. Let us tell you that due to the continuous torrential rains in the mountains, difficulties have increased. 260 roads of the state are closed due to landslides. The work of opening the obstructed roads is going on. If the Meteorological Department is to be believed, the rain will continue in the state till September 3.

How will the weather be in Uttarakhand on 2nd and 3rd September?

Apart from this, there is a possibility of extremely heavy rain in Dehradun, Chamoli and Bageshwar districts on 2nd September. A red alert has been issued for these districts. On the other hand, moderate to heavy rain is forecast in most districts of the state on 3rd September. There will be a yellow alert in all the districts of the state on this day.
