During the Congress-RJD voter rights rally in Darbhanga, Bihar, PM Modi’s mother was allegedly abused. After which the PM’s reaction has come to the fore. Modi said that he had never imagined that in a state with a rich tradition like Bihar, such a situation would arise where the honor of a mother would be hurt.

PM Modi further said, “Mother is our world, mother is our sanskar. What happened in Bihar a few days ago, neither I had imagined it, nor any brother or sister of Bihar would have imagined it, nor would any citizen of India have thought so.” ‘Not just my mother was insulted’- PM Modi
Further he said, “These abuses are not just an insult to my mother. But an insult to every mother, sister and daughter of India. I know, the pain that is in my heart, the same pain is in the heart of the people of Bihar too. The honor of every mother and daughter has been hurt.”

Further PM Modi said, “I know how bad all of you, every mother of Bihar, every daughter of Bihar and every brother of Bihar felt. I know that you suffered as much as I did. When so many mothers and sisters are with me, today I am sharing this sorrow with all of you, so that I can bear it.”
