A major accident took place in Rudraprayag on Monday morning. A Max Bolero going from Sonprayag to Gaurikund was hit by a huge boulder near Munkatiya sliding zone. Two people died in the accident. While three people are said to be injured. Two of them are in critical condition.
Bolero hit by boulder in Rudraprayag
The accident is said to have taken place around 7:15 am on Monday. According to the information, vehicle number UK 11 TA 1100 suddenly had a huge boulder fall from the hill near Munkatiya sliding zone. Bolero was hit by a huge boulder. It is being told that there were 11 people in the vehicle during the accident.
Two passengers in critical condition
On receiving the information, the rescue team reached the spot and took the injured out of the vehicle and took them to Sonprayag hospital. Two passengers died in the accident. While three passengers are injured. Two of them have been referred to a higher center considering their critical condition. It is being told that all the passengers were going to visit Kedarnath Dham.
