On Tuesday, PRD jawans created a ruckus in Roorkee’s Narsan block. The jawans made serious allegations against their senior officers of demanding bribe and assigning them duty arbitrarily.

PRD jawans said that due to the obstinacy of BO and DO, their duty is being assigned 30 to 40 kilometers away, due to which they are facing severe financial crisis. The jawans said that their salary is only Rs 650 and doing long distance duty in such a low salary, most of their money is spent on fare and travel.

Allegations were also made that the jawans living in Narsan are being deliberately assigned duty in Haridwar and the jawans of Haridwar are being assigned duty in Narsan. Not only this, a PRD jawan even made a serious allegation against his officers of taking bribe in the name of assigning duty. Despite the anger of the jawans, any concerned officer flatly refused to give any answer on this matter.
