However, it was not clear whether the conversation was being translated for him or not. Putin could not be heard clearly speaking in Russian in the CCTV clip.

About 30 seconds later, Xi, Putin and Kim reappear on camera walking toward a stage to watch the parade. At the event, Xi Jinping told a crowd of more than 50,000 spectators that the world faces a choice of “peace or war.” He inspected troops and state-of-the-art military equipment.
