Uttarakhand: Teelu Rauteli and Shailesh Matiyani awards announced, Anganwadi workers will also be honored

Every year, the Uttarakhand government honours women doing better work with the Teelu Rauteli Award and teachers doing better work in the field of education with the Shailesh Matiyani State Teacher Award, so that along with motivating the women of the state working in every field, teachers can be encouraged to provide better education.

13 women selected: The Women Empowerment and Child Development Department has selected 13 women for the state’s prestigious Teelu Rauteli Award. These women will be honoured during a programme organised in Dehradun on 4 September.

33 women awarded Anganwadi workers’ award: Uttarakhand Women Empowerment and Child Development Minister Rekha Arya said that a total of 13 women have been selected from across the state this year for the Teelu Rauteli Award. Along with this, 33 women have also been selected separately, who will be given the state level Anganwadi workers’ award. This event will be organised in the auditorium of IRDT in Dehradun on 4 September, where women will be honoured.

Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya said that Anganwadi workers are working more than their capacity and they have created many new dimensions in all the areas of the state. It is the responsibility of the government to empower all these women, in such a situation the government will not lag behind at all. Minister Arya said that the real work of women empowerment is done by the Anganwadi sisters of the state, in such a situation all of them should get credit for it.

Shailesh Matiyani Teacher Award: Every year the Uttarakhand Education Department honors the teachers who do better work in the field of education with the Shailesh Matiyani State Teacher Award. In such a situation, the Education Department has announced the Shailesh Matiyani State Teacher Award 2024, under which 13 teachers of the state will be honored this time. The selected teachers include teachers of primary, secondary, training institute and Sanskrit education, who have done better work in the field of education. In such a situation, all these teachers will be honored on September 5.
