Uttarakhand: Fake medicines racket busted, husband and wife arrested, used to sell fake medicines here

Uttarakhand STF has achieved a major success. STF has arrested two more members of the gang making fake medicines. Let us tell you that till now a total of 12 members of the gang making fake medicines of branded companies have been arrested. In the latest action, STF has arrested accused Pradeep Kumar and Shruti Dabur from Zirakpur Punjab. Both the accused are husband and wife.
Fake medicines racket busted
SSP STF Navneet Singh Bhullar gave this information. He told that in May 2025, fake wrappers, outer boxes and QR codes of branded drug companies were recovered in large quantities from accused Santosh Kumar. After which, considering the seriousness of the matter, the investigation was handed over to STF. Since then STF is continuously making arrests while revealing this matter.
Two more arrested including husband and wife
The arrested accused Pradeep Kumar had started the work of fake medicines along with Naveen Bansal. He had opened a fake firm Sai Pharma in the name of his wife Shruti Dabur. Both the accused who were caught used to take fake medicines from Selaqui Dehradun and Haridwar and pack them in different places. Along with this, with the help of Nobel Pharmacy Panchkula, they used to supply them to different states through ambulances.
Has been to jail earlier too
Pradeep Kumar also used to run Care Point Medical Store in a private hospital in Dehradun. Along with this, he has been to jail on charges of selling fake Remdesivir injections during Corona period. Police have also found out about a transaction of Rs 14 crore from the bank account of Sai Pharma. STF is investigating this matter more seriously.
