Actually Anwar suddenly went missing on Saturday. When the family searched for him. When he could not be found, they lodged a report in the police station on Sunday. The family said that the son has been kidnapped. A ransom of Rs 25 lakh has also been demanded. On the basis of this complaint, the police started investigation.
20-year-old youth killed
Investigation revealed that Anwar was strangled to death. According to the police, both the accused first called Anwar to them. They made an excuse of giving him tea and then took him under control. During interrogation, the accused confessed that after the incident, the body was packed in a sack and taken to Ganganahar on a motorcycle. Also, it was thrown into the canal to destroy evidence.
Shocking revelations revealed during investigation
When the police interrogated both of them, more shocking facts came to light. Both are from ordinary families. They could barely study till fifth and ninth standard. Neither of the accused had any permanent employment nor a stable income. Financial crisis and greed pushed them towards crime. They already knew Anwar. Even one of them had once lived on rent in Anwar’s house. Taking advantage of this acquaintance, they hatched a conspiracy to murder for ransom.
