State government will give full support
Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan said that “Uttarakhand will get a lot of benefits from the Dehradun-Saharanpur rail project. Travel will become easier for those commuting from Dehradun to Delhi. The state government will provide all possible assistance to give a concrete shape to these projects.”
Dehradun-Mussoorie rail line did not get the green signal
At the same time, the long-awaited Dehradun-Mussoorie rail line project has not yet got the approval of the Railway Board. This plan has been seen since the British rule. But at present this dream is incomplete. Recently, a meeting was held with the railway officials under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan in the Secretariat. But no concrete decision could be taken on the survey. Work on this project will be able to proceed only after getting the approval of the Railway Board.
