Uttarakhand got a big gift! CM Dhami approved schemes worth 100 crores

A big gift has been received regarding development works in Uttarakhand. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami approved schemes worth more than 100 crores. This includes projects related to road, health, drinking water and prison in many districts including Doon, Haridwar and Tehri.

CM Dhami has approved the work of widening the road from Mitthiberi to Chandni Chowk via Parwal and from Parwal to Vigyan Dham Jhajra in Sahaspur assembly constituency of Dehradun. Under this, a provision of 12.3 crores has been made for the widening of Mitthiberi-Parwal road.
Improvement of roads in Dehradun
At the same time, a scheme of Rs 3.52 crore has been approved for the improvement of Vasant Vihar Society and other internal routes in Dehradun Cantt assembly constituency. The Chief Minister has approved an amount of Rs 4.91 crore for the construction of new barracks on the first floor of three barracks in the District Jail, Haridwar and Rs 1 crore for the women’s barracks.
Funds for health facilities in Tehri
Along with this, the Chief Minister has approved funds for the construction of government buildings for two Ayurvedic hospitals operated by the Ayurvedic and Unani Services Department in Tehri. In which approval was given to approve an amount of Rs 2.89 crore for the Government Ayurvedic Hospital located at Molyasera and Rs 2.5 crore for the hospital located at Giyaal.
Rs 74 crore for drinking water supply
The Chief Minister has also approved the release of an amount of Rs 7 crore in the revenue head and Rs 67 crore in the capital head for the Uttarakhand Drinking Water Program for the World Bank-funded semi-urban areas in the current financial year 2025-26.
