Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami extended his greetings to the people of the state on Hindi Diwas. In his message issued on this occasion, the Chief Minister said that Hindi symbolizes our cultural sentiments, aspirations, and ideals. Hindi is not only a medium of communication for us, but also a symbol of our identity, culture, and Indianness. Hindi has tried to bind our diverse society together. The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is making significant efforts to establish Hindi on the global stage. His use of Hindi in the “Mann Ki Baat” program has given Hindi global recognition.
He said that today Hindi is being studied in various countries around the world. Hindi has also played an important role in creating social awareness. From the freedom struggle to the present, Hindi has been a major medium of social consciousness. During the freedom struggle, Hindi became the language of struggle and played a crucial role in uniting the countrymen. The Chief Minister said that the state government is continuously working to promote Hindi.
