Following two tragic accidents in Bhilwara and Jaipur, Rajasthan, mourning has descended on Phuliya Kala village in Shahpura (Bhilwara). First, a family returning from Haridwar after immersing the ashes of an elderly person met with an accident in Shivdaspura, Jaipur, on September 14th. Seven people, including four from the same family, died in the accident. Four generations of a family were wiped out in seven days.

Furthermore, in Shahpura, Bhilwara, seven young men who went to bathe in the river after the funeral of four family members drowned; two of them died and one is missing. Four of these young men were rescued and admitted to the hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.

Road Accident in Jaipur – Seven Dead

A horrific road accident occurred on the Ring Road in the Shivdaspura area of ​​Jaipur at around 5:15 am on September 14th. Ashok Vaishnav (47), his wife Seema Devi (45), son Rohit (23) and grandson Gajraj (6) of Phooliya Kala village in Bhilwara, along with Ramraj Vaishnav (38), his wife Madhu (36) and their 14-month-old son Rudra, residents of Vatika Sanganeer in Jaipur, were victims of this accident. All of them had gone to Haridwar for the immersion of the ashes of Ashok’s father Gopal Vaishnav and were returning to Jaipur late Saturday night.

According to the police, the car lost control due to overspeeding, hit the divider on the ring road and fell 16 feet below into the water filled in the underpass. On Sunday afternoon, the local people saw the overturned car and informed the police. The car was pulled out with the help of a crane, in which the bodies of seven people were found. After this accident, a wave of mourning ran in Phooliya Kala village.

Seven youths drowned after the last rites

After the accident, all four bodies reached Phooliya Kala village at 6:30 am on Monday. There was an atmosphere of mourning in the village. Ashok, Seema, Rohit and Gajraj were cremated at 7:30 am at the cremation ground on Dhaneshwar Road. A large number of villagers attended the funeral. After the funeral, as per tradition, many people went to take bath in the anicut of Khari river.

Meanwhile, seven youths Vijay Pratap Singh (30), Mukesh Goswami (25), Mahendra Mali (25), Bardi Chand (34), Mahesh (35), Rakesh (28) and Jivraj (30) started drowning in the deep water. Local people immediately started rescue work and Rakesh, Jivraj, Vijay Pratap and Mukesh were pulled out.

They were admitted to the primary health center of Phuliya Kala, where their condition remains critical. Mahendra Mali and Bardi Chand died on the spot, while Mahesh is still missing. The local administration and divers are searching for him.

End of four generations in seven days

Let us tell you, there is mourning in Phuliya Kala village after these deaths. Ashok Vaishnav’s father Gopal Vaishnav died a week ago. The family had gone to Haridwar for the immersion of his ashes, but the accident that happened while returning took away Ashok, his wife, son and grandson. According to the villagers, four generations of the family perished in seven days.

Ashok used to do puja at Dhaneshwar temple, while his son Rohit used to work at a grocery shop in the village. Out of Rohit’s three children, Gajraj died in this accident, while his twin sister and younger brother are alive. Ashok’s elder son Pankaj works in farming and driving a taxi, now he is the only support left for the family. After these accidents, the atmosphere of the village is still sad.
