Body of Unidentified Man Recovered from Ganges Nagar
Haridwar was rocked this morning when the body of an unidentified man was recovered from the Ganges Canal. Police are currently working to identify the unidentified man.
Body of Unidentified Man Recovered from Ganges Nagar
According to reports, the Ganges Canal’s water supply was shut off following heavy rains in the mountains. A body was spotted floating in the canal. Upon receiving the information, a police team arrived at the scene. With the help of local diver Monu Jalveer, the body was pulled from under the Ganges Canal bridge.
Police Engaged in Identification
Police have sent the deceased’s body for post-mortem examination. As soon as news of the body was discovered, a large number of people from the surrounding area gathered at the scene, creating chaos along the canal banks. Police are currently working to identify the body. The investigation is ongoing.
