After Chamoli, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami conducted an aerial survey of Taljaman, Dungar, Badeth, Jaula, Kamad, Uchhola, Chainagad, and Patuy villages in the disaster-affected Basukedaar area of ​​Rudraprayag. The Chief Minister said that during this time of crisis, PM Modi is regularly receiving updates on the disaster situation in various areas of the state. He also reached Dehradun and met with the affected people and announced a grant of ₹1,200 crore for immediate relief in the areas. The CM instructed officials to remain on alert until September 30th and be prepared to deal with any disaster.

Emphasis placed on foolproof travel arrangements
CM Dhami said that the number of pilgrims to Kedarnath Dham is expected to increase rapidly after the monsoon, and in view of this, it is essential to maintain foolproof travel arrangements. He said that the safety of pilgrims is our top priority and efforts should be made on a war footing to ensure a smooth journey.
