A recent example of this was seen when 96-year-old Jabar Singh Rawat, a resident of Dehradun, met with Chief Minister Dhami and donated ₹7 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for disaster recovery work.

Jabar Singh Rawat’s passion for society was commendable
The Chief Minister said that his sensitivity and responsibility towards society are a source of inspiration for generations to come. The soil of Devbhoomi is steeped not only in faith and bravery, but also in a wonderful tradition of service, and Jabar Singh Rawat is a living example of this. The Chief Minister said that even at the age of 96, his passion for society is commendable.

The Chief Minister honored Rawat with a shawl and expressed his gratitude on behalf of the state. Dehradun Cantt MLA Savita Kapoor was also present on the occasion.
