Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami spent the entire day on Saturday engaged in public service. During this time, he met with people from Udham Singh Nagar to Chamoli, addressing their problems.

At 9 a.m. on Saturday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami first met with the public in Khatima (Udham Singh Nagar) and directed officials to address public issues. He then visited the disaster-hit Nandanagar area of ​​Chamoli district, where he met with the victims and shared their grief. The Chief Minister provided financial assistance to the victims and assured them of all possible assistance from the government in rebuilding their lives. He then conducted an aerial survey of Rudraprayag and other disaster-affected areas of Chamoli to assess the damage caused by the disaster. After meeting with officials at the Rudraprayag district headquarters, he directed them to expedite reconstruction work. On his way back, the Chief Minister visited Dhari Devi near Srinagar and prayed for the well-being of the people of the state. Upon returning to Dehradun in the evening, Chief Minister Dhami discussed various topics with BJP leaders and issued guidelines to the government on various issues.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inspected the disaster-hit areas of Nandanagar in Chamoli district on Saturday. While assessing the damage caused by the disaster, he also inquired about the well-being of the victims.

Assuring all possible assistance to the families affected by the disaster, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami stated that the government stands fully with the affected families in this hour of crisis. While reviewing the relief work, Chief Minister Dhami directed officials to conduct a detailed assessment of the damage in the affected areas.

Relief assistance to the families of the deceased: Chief Minister Dhami also distributed checks of ₹5 lakh each to the families of the deceased. Chief Minister Dhami conducted on-site inspections of the disaster-affected villages of Kuntari Laga Phali and Kuntari Laga Sarpani, as well as an aerial survey of the villages of Dhurma, Mokh, Kundi, Bansbara, and Mokhmalla to assess the disaster damage and relief efforts.

Assured help to the victims: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met with the victims and stated that the government stands fully with the affected people in this hour of disaster. Relief and rescue operations are being conducted on a war footing in the affected areas.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed officials to continue working diligently to carry out relief and infrastructure restoration work with full capacity and diligence to ensure the speedy restoration of normal life. The work of ensuring smooth supply of electricity and drinking water in the affected areas and restoring road connectivity to all areas should be completed on priority.

Chamoli District Magistrate Provided Information: District Magistrate of Chamoli, Sandeep Tiwari, provided information on the damage caused by the disaster, relief and rescue operations, and stated that relief and rescue operations are continuing in the disaster-affected areas. So far, 12 injured individuals have been referred to higher centers via helicopter, of which one was sent to AIIMS Rishikesh and 11 were sent to Medical College Srinagar. Approximately 45 buildings have been completely damaged in Kuntri Laga Phali, Sarpani, Dhurma, Sera, and Mokh. Fifteen cow shelters have also been destroyed.

Eight animals have been reported dead and 40 missing in these areas. A detailed survey of the affected areas is underway. Food, shelter, healthcare, and other basic amenities are being provided to the affected people.
