UKSSSC paper leak: Inquiry commission submits interim report to CM, CM says decision will be in the interest of candidates

The single-member inquiry commission constituted by the state government to investigate alleged irregularities in the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSC) competitive examination held on September 21st met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today and presented its interim report. The commission is chaired by Justice (Retd.) U.C. Dhyani.

Government will take decisions in the best interest of candidates: CM
The CM said that the commission has conducted a large number of public hearings in a short period of time, received suggestions from candidates and stakeholders, and submitted its report, which is commendable. The CM said that the state government will study this report and take a decision in the best interest of the candidates. He said that a CBI investigation has been recommended to ensure complete fairness in the matter.

CM said that there will be no possibility of irregularities in recruitment examinations in the future
Chief Minister Dhami said that the government is fully committed to maintaining the purity, transparency, and credibility of examinations. In the future, it will be ensured that there is no possibility of irregularities in any recruitment examination and that the confidence of candidates and their parents in the state’s examination system remains intact.
