He has become the third Indian captain to score the most 50+ scores in Tests after 12 innings. By doing so, Gill has broken Virat Kohli’s record as captain. Kohli had scored 50+ runs in Tests five times in 12 innings as captain. Gill has achieved this feat by scoring 50+ runs in Tests for the sixth time as captain.
