A private bus has met with an accident in the Baddi area of Solan district, Himachal Pradesh. A total of 42 people were on board, attending a wedding ceremony. Initial reports indicate that 10 people were injured. The injured have been sent to AIIMS for treatment, as the accident occurred near the border with Bilaspur district.
According to reports, the incident occurred in the Ramshahr police station area of Baddi, Solan district. It is reported that on Monday afternoon, the private bus overturned and fell into a field in Luharghat. The passengers were on their way to attend a wedding ceremony when the driver lost control of the bus, leading to the accident.
After the incident, there was widespread outcry, and all the injured were rescued by the public and taken to AIIMS Bilaspur for treatment. The bus passengers were reportedly attending a wedding in Jobi village. Meanwhile, chaos erupted at the scene. Police are currently investigating the matter.
Recent Bus Accident
Last week, a landslide hit a bus near Bhallupul in Barthi, Bilaspur. Sixteen people were killed and two children were injured in the accident. This accident, which occurred in the Jhanduta Assembly constituency, left two families with lifelong scars. Members of these families were killed in the accident.
