The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has finally announced the seat-sharing arrangement for the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections. However, Upendra Kushwaha, the head of the Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM), an NDA ally, appeared disheartened after the announcement.

Upendra Kushwaha, after receiving fewer seats than expected, wrote an emotional post on the social media platform ‘X’, which sparked political turmoil

Upendra Kushwaha wrote in his post, “Dear friends and colleagues, I apologize to all of you. The number of seats could not be decided as per your wishes. I know that this decision must have disappointed thousands and lakhs of workers. Many households may not have even cooked food today. But I hope that you all will understand my and the party’s compulsion.”

Be patient, time will tell you everything – Kushwaha

He further wrote, “Behind any decision, there are circumstances that are visible to everyone, and some that are invisible. I know that many of you may be feeling angry with me, which is natural. But I just want to say, please be patient, let your anger subside – then you will realize for yourself how right or wrong the decision was. Time will tell you everything.”

A new era of discussion is about to begin in Bihar politics

Kushwaha’s emotional reaction has started a new era of discussion in Bihar politics. It is believed that he is extremely dissatisfied with the number of seats, but for now, he wants to assess the situation within the NDA.

According to the NDA’s seat-sharing formula, both the BJP and JDU will contest 101 seats each. Meanwhile, the LJP (Ram Vilas) has been awarded 29 seats, while the Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) and Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) have been given the opportunity to contest six seats each. BJP election in-charge and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also posted on X, saying, “NDA allies have completed the seat distribution in a cordial atmosphere.”
