Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami led a GST awareness rally in the main market of the district headquarters on Wednesday. During the rally, he directly interacted with traders and the general public, sharing essential information and gathering feedback regarding the recently reduced GST slabs by the central government.

Chief Minister Dhami visited various establishments in the market, including Prakash Tiwari’s Tiwari Sweets, Mayukh Chaudhary’s Chaudhary Vastra Bhandar, and Prakash Tiwari’s General Store at the bus station, to meet with traders and seek their opinions on the new GST slabs. He specifically urged traders to provide complete information about the reduced GST rates to the public so that consumers can directly and fully benefit from them.

The Chief Minister clarified that the central government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has reduced the GST slabs on several essential products and services to provide relief to the general public, which he is calling “Next Generation GST.” He expressed confidence that the general public will directly benefit from these reduced rates.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister strongly urged the government to prioritize indigenous products. He told traders and the public that by prioritizing local products, we must strengthen the people of India and the Indian economy. CM Dhami visited various establishments, took feedback from shopkeepers, and encouraged them to adopt and sell local and indigenous products. He emphasized that everyone must contribute to the development of society and the state by adopting local and indigenous products. He also said that prioritizing local products is essential not only for economic strength but also for realizing the dream of a self-reliant India.
