Uttarakhand: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami flagged off 09 mobile medical units (ambulances)

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami flagged off eight mobile health service vehicles provided by the Hans Foundation, Dehradun, and one jointly by Hindustan Zinc and the Mamta organization from his private residence, Nagla Tarai, Khatima, on Thursday.
The Chief Minister said that this effort by the Hans Foundation, Hindustan Zinc Company, and the Mamta organization would prove helpful in expanding health facilities. He said that mobile health services would be very beneficial for urban and rural areas. The public would benefit as much as possible from these health facilities.
Project Manager, Hans Foundation, Yudhveer Singh, said that out of the eight mobile units provided by the Foundation, four mobile units would provide health services in Udham Singh Nagar district and four mobile units in Nainital district. Anamika Jha, Director of Hindustan Zinc Company informed that mobile medical vehicles have been started in 04 districts of Rajasthan and 25 villages of Gadarpur and Kichha area of Udham Singh Nagar in Uttarakhand to provide consultation, check-up and treatment through doctors, staff nurses and counselors.
On this occasion, Chairman District Panchayat Ajay Maurya, Municipal Council Chairman Ramesh Chandra Joshi, District Magistrate Nitin Singh Bhadoria, Senior Superintendent of Police Manikant Mishra and others were present.
