Uttarakhand: CM Dhami conducted an extensive road tour of the Champawat Assembly constituency and interacted directly with villagers

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami toured his assembly constituency, Champawat, by road on Wednesday. He stopped at various villages along the route from Champawat to Tanakpur, meeting with villagers and establishing direct public interaction.

During his tour, Chief Minister Dhami visited villages such as Mudiani, Dhaun, Swala, Amodi, Chalthi, Sinyari, Sukhidhang, and Bastiyan. He gathered information about the region’s topography, ongoing development projects, and public issues.

At each location, the Chief Minister was greeted with warmth. Women dressed in traditional attire welcomed him with flowers and auspicious songs. The Chief Minister warmly accepted the flowers and blessings offered by the women and said, “These blessings are the true energy for my work.” He added that the love and trust of the people of Champawat are his greatest asset.

The Chief Minister also interacted with children at various locations. He asked the children about their studies, dreams, and careers, and encouraged them to study diligently and move forward. The Chief Minister said, “All of you children are the future of our state. The day you all confidently fulfill your dreams, Uttarakhand will reach the pinnacle of its development.”

The Chief Minister explained the importance of education to the children, wished them a bright future, and said that the government is continuously taking concrete steps to promote education and skill development.

Promoted Local Products – Purchased Hill Gaderi and Ginger

Chief Minister Dhami visited a local shop in Chalthi, where he personally purchased local agricultural products – Gaderi (hill arbi) and ginger. He said that the state government is committed to implementing the “Vocal for Local” initiative and that everyone should promote the use of local products.

The Chief Minister said that every corner of Champawat gives him new energy and inspiration. He said, “I consider myself fortunate to have the opportunity to serve Champawat. The love and trust of the people here is my greatest responsibility. Together, we will make Champawat an ideal assembly constituency.” He extended his greetings and best wishes to the villagers for Diwali, Dhanteras, and Bhaiya Dooj in advance, and hoped that these festivals would bring happiness, prosperity, and well-being to the state.

During his visit, the Chief Minister discussed in detail with the villagers issues related to development work, education, health, drinking water, roads, irrigation, agriculture, and local employment. He directed officials to ensure that all public welfare projects are completed in a timely and quality manner. He stated that the government’s priority is to ensure public convenience, safety, and development. The Chief Minister stated that meeting the public’s expectations is his biggest goal.

On this occasion, in-charges Shyam Narayan Pandey, Anil Dabbu, Shankar Koranga, BJP District President Govind Samant, District Panchayat President Anand Adhikari, BJP State Minister Nirmal Mehra, District Magistrate Manish Kumar, Superintendent of Police Ajay Ganpati, public representatives, officials and a large number of local villagers were present.
