Congress Candidate List 2025: Congress releases first list of candidates, 48 ​​names include 5 women and 4 Muslims

After constant tussle within the Grand Alliance in Bihar, the Bihar Congress finally released its first list of candidates just hours before the first phase of nominations.

The first list includes the names of 48 candidates. However, most of these candidates had already received their symbols a day before the list was released. The list includes candidates for both the first and second phases.

The party has nominated Jayesh Mangal Singh from Bagaha. Amit Giri has been given the ticket from Nautan. Besides these, Abhishek Ranjan from Chanpatia Assembly constituency, Wasi Ahmed from Bettiah, Shyam Bihari Prasad from Raxaul, Shashi Bhushan Rai from Govindganj, Amit Kumar Tuna from Riga, Engineer Naveen Kumar from Bathnaha reserved seat, Nalini Ranjan Jha from Benipatti, Subodh Mandal from Phulparas,

Manoj Vishwas from Forbesganj, Professor Maswar Alam from Bahadurganj, and the party’s legislative party leader Shakeel Ahmed Khan from Kadwa have been nominated.

The party has once again given a ticket to Manohar Prasad Singh from the Manihari reserved seat. Poonam Paswan has been fielded again from the Koira reserved seat, after failing to win the last election.

Apart from these, Sarita Devi from the Sonbarsa reserved seat, Mithilesh Kumar Chaudhary from Benipur, Umesh Ram from the Sakra reserved seat, Vijendra Chaudhary from Muzaffarpur, Om Prakash Garg from Gopalganj, Hari Narayan Kushwaha from Kuchaykot, Aditya Kumar Raja Veer from Lalganj, Engineer Sanjeev Kumar Singh from Vaishali, Pratima Kumari Das from Rajapakar, BK Ravi from Rosra reserved seat, Shiv Prakash Garibdas from Bachhwara, Amitabh Bhushan from Begusarai, Chandan Yadav from Khagaria, Mithilesh Kumar Nishad from Beldaur, Ajit Kumar Sharma from Bhagalpur, Lalan Yadav from Sultanganj, Jitendra Singh from Amarpur, Amresh Kumar from Lakhisarai have been declared as candidates.

The party has nominated Trishuldhari Singh from Barbigha, Umar Khan from Bihar Sharif, Kaushlendra Kumar from Nalanda, Chhote Mukhiya, Arun Kumar Bind from Harnaut, Indradeep Chandravanshi from Kumbhraj seat, Shashant Shekhar from Patna Sahib seat, Anil Kumar Singh from Vikram, Sanjay Kumar Tiwari back from Buxar as its candidates.

Vishwanath Ram has been given the ticket from Rajpur reserved seat. Mangal Ram from Chenari reserved seat, Santosh Mishra from Kargahar, party’s state president Rajesh Ram from Kutumb, Anand Shankar from Aurangabad seat, former party MLA Awadhesh Kumar Singh from Wazirganj and Neetu Kumari from Hissa assembly constituency have been given the ticket.
