What happened recently at the Uttarakhand Kranti Dal (UKD) convention in Ramnagar has raised new questions about the relationship between politics and the media in the state. Party workers clashed among themselves during the event, and when a media person present at the event tried to cover the incident, they were attacked by UKD members.

The Ramnagar journalist assault case escalates

The UKD, which claims to be the true voice of Uttarakhand, now appears to be afraid of its political truth being exposed. The attack on the journalist in Ramnagar is the latest example. But the matter doesn’t end there; efforts to suppress the incident have begun on social media as well.

A fake profile being used as an agenda or just a coincidence?

When the Khabar Uttarakhand News Agency team worked to bring the truth of this incident to viewers, similar comments suddenly began appearing on social media from several fake profiles.

The profiles commenting on the video are foreign-sounding, but the comments are focusing on political issues in Uttarakhand. Interestingly, while all the profiles have different names, photos, and locations, their language, word structure, and comment patterns are consistent.

Now the question arises: is this all just a coincidence, or is there a deliberate social media agenda being pursued from within the UKD? First, the mistreatment of the journalist, and now the organized, fake comments on social media. This development suggests an attempt to prevent the truth from coming out.
