Uttarakhand: In Kedarnath Dham, Number of devotees sets new record, over 17 lakh devotees visit Baba

This year, a wave of devotees has been pouring in at Kedarnath Dham. Since the opening of the doors on May 2, 2025, a total of 1,720,855 devotees have visited Baba Kedarnath.
More than 5,000 devotees arrived at Kedarnath Dham on October 16th
On October 16th alone, 5,512 devotees visited Lord Kedarnath (Kedarnath Dham), including 3,531 men, 1,869 women, and 106 children. Six foreign devotees also received Baba Kedar’s blessings, including two men and four women.
Kedarnath Dham’s doors will close on October 23rd
This annual tradition of worshipping Baba Kedar is now drawing to a close. On the auspicious occasion of Bhai Dooj (October 23, 2025), the doors of Kedarnath Dham will be closed for the winter. Following this, the palanquin of Baba Kedarnath will be taken to the Omkareshwar Temple in Ukhimath in the traditional manner, where Lord Kedarnath will be worshipped for the next six months.
