Uttarakhand: CM Dhami extended greetings on the occasion of Dhanteras, Diwali, Govardhan Puja and Bhaiya Dooj

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami extended his greetings to the people of the state on Dhanteras, Diwali, Govardhan Puja, and Bhaiya Dooj. Wishing the people of the state happiness, peace, and prosperity, the Chief Minister stated that Dhanteras is a festival dedicated to the worship of Lord Dhanvantari, the God of health.
May Lord Dhanvantari bestow happiness, prosperity, and well-being in everyone’s life. Describing the holy festival of Diwali as a symbol of happiness, prosperity, and well-being, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami extended his heartfelt greetings to all the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Diwali. He said that with the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha, may happiness, prosperity, peace, and well-being permeate all our lives.
The Chief Minister said that the festival of Diwali is not only a festival of light, enthusiasm, and joy, but also a symbol of self-reliance and self-respect. Diwali is also a festival of national identity and pride. He prayed that this festival of light brings wealth, prosperity, fame, opulence, and prosperity to all of us.
The Chief Minister urged everyone to embrace the mantra of “Swadeshi, Swadeshi, Save the Country” on Diwali and contribute to the goal of a self-reliant India. He added that purchasing indigenous products directly benefits local crafts, cottage industries, and women’s self-help groups.
The Chief Minister emphasized the rich tradition and skills of Uttarakhand’s artisans. Earthen lamps, handmade decorative items, organic products, and mountain foods are not only popular locally but are also gaining recognition nationally and internationally. The Chief Minister urged everyone to light their homes with indigenous products this Diwali, so that the light of happiness can be lit in the homes of other families as well.
