Uttarakhand / Udham Singh Nagar: Accident in Nanakmatta; Tractor-trolley and pickup vehicle collide, 4 labourers killed, 3 injured
A tractor-trolley and a pickup truck collided violently in Nainital, Udham Singh Nagar district, on Saturday morning. Four laborers were killed in the accident, while three others were injured and are undergoing treatment.

According to information, all laborers were from Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. They were reportedly returning home to celebrate Diwali. At the turn before the Nanak Sagar Dam, a speeding pickup truck collided with the tractor trolley, causing it to overturn. The tractor was severely damaged in the accident.
Four laborers killed
All seven laborers on the tractor were seriously injured. Police arrived at the scene upon receiving information, but by then, two laborers had already died. The other injured were rushed to the hospital. Two laborers succumbed to their injuries during treatment, while three others are reported to be injured. Police have taken the bodies of the deceased into custody and sent them for post-mortem.
