Uttarakhand: A special session of the Legislative Assembly will be convened on November 3-4, and Uttarakhand may receive a significant gift on its 25th anniversary

The government is convening a two-day special session of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly to mark the 25th anniversary of Uttarakhand Statehood Day. The date for the special session has been announced. The state government will convene a two-day special session of the Legislative Assembly in Dehradun on November 3rd and 4th, prior to Uttarakhand Statehood Day, November 9th. In fact, in a recent cabinet meeting, the decision to convene a special session of the Legislative Assembly to mark the 25th anniversary of Uttarakhand Statehood Day was taken. However, the date was not finalized. The Chief Minister was authorized to decide the date and venue of the special session. The government sent the proposal to the Legislative Assembly Secretariat for a recommendation. The Legislative Assembly Secretariat forwarded it to the Governor. On Saturday, the Governor’s recommendation to convene a special session of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly was received.

According to information received from the Legislative Assembly Secretariat, a notification will be issued regarding the special session to be held before Uttarakhand Statehood Day, November 9th. The special session of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly will be convened in Dehradun on November 3rd and 4th.

Uttarakhand Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri stated that the state government is planning to do something special for the people of the state in the silver jubilee year of Statehood Day. To mark the completion of 25 years of statehood, some important discussions are scheduled to take place in the state. These discussions will take the state to a new level of development. Some major decisions may also be made in this constituency.

The Assembly Secretariat has received approval from the Raj Bhavan for the Assembly session. A notification regarding the special session of the Assembly will be issued tomorrow, Sunday morning, October 19th. Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri stated that the Assembly Secretariat is completing its preparations. This special session is scheduled to be held in Dehradun in the first week of November.

Grand events will be organized across the state to mark the 25th anniversary of Uttarakhand Statehood Day. President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are also visiting Dehradun. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also inaugurate the Military Shrine in Dehradun on November 9th. However, the program of President Draupadi Murmu has not been finalized yet.
