A devotee from Mumbai provided the flowers. Dr. Harish Gaur, media in-charge of BKTC, stated that the temple is being decorated lavishly. Diwali is celebrated with enthusiasm and religious rituals in Badrinath.
Badrinath Dham’s Dharmadhikari Radhakrishna Thapliyal stated that Diwali will be celebrated at the Dham on October 20th. On the festival day, locals as well as devotees visiting the temple also light lamps in the temple premises.
