Pakistan, which harbors terrorism, now lives under the shadow of terror day and night. Terrorism has become such a headache for the Pakistani military that it has been attacked for the second consecutive day. On Tuesday, the Balochistan Liberation Front targeted the Pakistani military in Balochistan. Five soldiers were killed in the attack, while two soldiers are reported to be seriously injured.
Earlier on Monday, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists targeted the Pakistani military in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Five soldiers were killed in this attack as well. Last Monday, TTP terrorists attempted to target the Sui Northern Gas Pipeline (SNGPL) in Dera Ismail Khan district, leading to an attack on the soldiers deployed there. According to media reports, five soldiers were killed in that attack. Eight terrorists were claimed to have been killed in retaliatory fire.
The Pakistani military has been attacked several times in the past two days. Separatist organizations like the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) are regularly targeting the Pakistani military. Last September, terrorists detonated an explosive device on a railway track in the Dasht area of Mastung, Balochistan. The attack destroyed a coach of the Jaffar Express, injuring 12 passengers. On August 10, terrorists detonated an IED in Mastung district, derailing six coaches and injuring four people.
The Balochistan Liberation Front was founded by Jumma Khan Marri in Syria in 1964. Four years after its founding, the Baloch participated in the Baloch insurgency against the Iranian government. During this period, the Iraqi government openly supported the BLF, and Iraq provided them with weapons. After five years of fighting, Iran eliminated the BLF and other Baloch militants.
