A shocking news has emerged from the Sheetla Mata Temple in Lucknow’s Kakori town. A man named Swamikant alias Pammu crossed all limits of inhumanity with an ailing Dalit man, Rampal, sitting in the temple premises. While Rampal was sitting in the Sheetla Mata Temple, due to ill health, he accidentally urinated in the temple premises. Angered by this, Swamikant alias Pammu abused him. It is also alleged that Swamikant alias Pammu made the man lick urine in the name of “purifying the temple” and then washed the temple premises with water.

This entire incident took place in Lucknow’s Kakori town. At the Sheetla Mata Temple, an elderly Dalit man named Rampal has accused a man named Swamikant alias Pammu of making him lick urine. Rampal, a resident of Hata Hazrat Sahib, suffers from a respiratory condition. He has alleged that while he was sitting in the temple courtyard on Monday, due to illness, he accidentally urinated inside the temple premises. Angered by this, a man named Swamikant alias Pammu abused the elderly man and accused him of “desecrating the temple.” It is also alleged that Swamikant made Rampal lick urine in the name of “purifying the temple” and then washed the temple premises with water. During this time, the accused is accused of using casteist slurs and assaulting him.
Accused Swamikant alias Pammu arrested
After the incident, the victim, Rampal, went to the Kakori police station and filed a written complaint, demanding justice. Upon learning of the incident, the police detained the accused and began questioning him. ACP Kakori Shakeel Ahmed stated that based on the victim’s complaint, a case has been registered under relevant sections and the accused has been arrested.
