Weather will change again in Uttarakhand, cold will soon arrive, the Meteorological Department has predicted rain and snowfall.

The weather in Uttarakhand is expected to change after Diwali. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding this. According to the Meteorological Department, light rain is expected in the hilly areas of the state on October 21st. However, the weather will remain dry in the plains. According to the Meteorological Department’s forecast, light rain is expected in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, and Rudraprayag on October 21st. Snowfall is also expected in the hilly areas of the state from October 22nd.

The mild cold has now begun to spread in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand. This cold is expected to intensify after Diwali. The Meteorological Department has also issued a similar forecast. According to the Meteorological Department, rain is expected in the hilly areas of the state on October 21st and 22nd, which will change the weather. This rain is expected to increase the cold in the hilly areas of the state. Along with this, light snowfall is also expected.

It should be noted that incessant rain in Uttarakhand has affected life in the past few months. During this period, heavy rains blocked many connecting roads, causing landslides and falling debris from the hills, causing inconvenience to people.

The monsoon season completely withdrew from Uttarakhand on September 26th. This monsoon season, compared to the previous monsoon season, saw 9% more rainfall than in 2024. 69% of the state received normal rainfall. 23% of the area received above-normal rainfall.
