Dinosaur mummy unearthed after 110 million years! Scientists stunned, exclaim, “It’s alive…”

Paleontologists are calling this discovery a once-in-a-lifetime event. Miners in Canada have found the remains of a dinosaur so well-preserved that it’s being called a mummy. This specimen not only offers a unique glimpse into the dinosaurs that roamed the Earth 110 million years ago, but it’s now housed in the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Alberta and belongs to the nodosaur family, which were heavily armored herbivores that roamed the Earth during the Cretaceous period.

How did this discovery happen?
The discovery came unexpectedly while workers were drilling at the Suncor Millennium Mine near Fort McMurray. Instead of coal or regular rock, they found the stony body of a nodosaur buried in sea mud. According to Futura Sciences, its preservation is so remarkable that it includes patterns of outer skin, fully exposed bones, and traces of internal structures. Scientists estimate that this dinosaur weighed approximately 1,400 kilograms when alive.
