To avoid inconvenience to the general public during Chhath Puja, the Dehradun Police have issued a traffic plan. In view of the potential for stampedes in crowded areas, the police have completely banned the use of DJs and fireworks.

Dehradun Police have issued a traffic plan for Chhath Puja. Furthermore, due to the potential for stampedes in crowded areas, DJs and fireworks have been completely banned. It is worth noting that during Chhath Puja, prayers are performed along the river and ghats in areas such as Premnagar, Maldevta, Chandrabadni, and Nehru Colony. Keeping this in mind, the police have issued a traffic plan for October 27th and 28th.

- Parking for vehicles coming from Maldevta, Raipur, and Balawala

- Parking for vehicles from ISBT, Clement Town, and Mohbbewala areas

Diversion Arrangement
- Vehicles from Dehradun to Sahaspur and Vikasnagar will be diverted via Ranghadwala Tiraha, Daru Chowk, Badowala, Sindhnivala Tiraha, and Dhulkot.
- Route for devotees attending Nanda Ki Chowki Chhath Puja from Dehradun city: Ranghadwala Tiraha, Premnagar Chowk, and Nanda Ki Chowki.
- Route for vehicles going from Bhauwala to Premnagar: Suddhowala Chowk – Balaji Dham Cut – Thakurpur Road – Premnagar Chowk to their destination.
- Route for vehicles going from Bidholi to Premnagar: Nanda Ki Chowki – Suddhowala Chowk via Balaji Dham Cut, Thakurpur Road to Premnagar Chowk to their destination.
- Vehicles going from Premnagar to Jhajhra, Suddhowala, and Bidholi will be sent via Thakurpur Road – Balaji Dham.
- Heavy vehicles will be diverted from Dhulkot Tiraha towards Singhnivala and will proceed via Barowala to their destination.
- In case of traffic congestion in the Nanda Ki Chowki Premnagar area, the traffic plan may be modified as per local conditions.
