Uttarakhand: Winter airport schedule implemented, 30 flights approved for 11 cities, no new airlines or cities included

The winter schedule for Dehradun Airport has been released, with various airlines approved for a total of 30 flights to 11 cities. This winter schedule will be effective from October 26th to March 28th of the following year.

The summer schedule will be released after this. In the winter schedule released for Dehradun Airport, a total of 18 flights to various cities by IndiGo, nine by Air India, two by Alliance Air, and one by Air India Express have been approved by the DGCA. IndiGo continues to be the airline operating the most flights at Dehradun Airport this time.

New airlines and new cities not included

IndiGo, Air India, Alliance Air, and Air India Express will operate a total of 18 flights to 11 cities as per the new schedule, but no new cities have been included in this winter schedule.

No new airlines have also arrived in Dehradun. Of the 18 flights, four are not currently operating; the remaining flights are currently operating according to the summer schedule. All winter flights will operate according to the revised schedule.

A total of 33 flights were approved in the previous winter schedule. This included FlyBig’s flight to Pithoragarh, but FlyBig’s flights to Dehradun Airport have been suspended. Ayodhya and Amritsar were also included in the previous winter schedule, but this time no new cities from the Kumaon division or other regions have been added. It is now expected that flights to some new cities will be operated in the upcoming summer schedule.
