Cyclone Mahina: A cyclonic storm approaching at a speed of 100 km will wreak havoc, with winds increasing, and the country on high alert

A cyclonic storm has begun to hit the country at a speed of 100 km. Cyclone Montha has begun to show its ferocious form off the coast of Andhra Pradesh. As it approaches land, it will wreak even more havoc. It is feared that it may become a cyclone today.
Reports indicate that the storm will cross the Andhra Pradesh coast near Kakinada this evening or night as a severe cyclonic storm (Cyclone Montha alert). In this regard, the administration has instructed people in coastal districts to remain vigilant and follow safety advisories. Multiple teams have been deployed and the weather is being continuously monitored (heavy rain alert).
Cyclone Montha: Trains Cancelled Due to Cyclone Montha
Cyclone Montha could intensify at any time. In view of this, the South Central Railway has cancelled 72 trains. Trains scheduled for October 28th and 29th have been cancelled. This cyclone could impact several areas in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Odisha.

According to Prakhar Jain, Managing Director of the Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority, the cyclone has begun to show its strength. It has begun to make landfall. Thunderstorms and rain are being felt in coastal districts. It is highly likely to intensify into a severe cyclonic storm by Tuesday. All departments have been put on high alert.
Residents of 360 houses being evacuated
The police department is also fully prepared for this cyclone. As a precaution, residents of 360 houses are being evacuated.
