Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a detailed review meeting on the Sharda Corridor Development Project today at his camp office in Khatima, Lohiahead. During the meeting, the Chief Minister directed officials to ensure that all project-related work is in accordance with public expectations and local beliefs.

CM reviews Sharda Corridor Development Project
The Chief Minister reviewed in detail the progress of the 38 major projects proposed under the project and directed officials to ensure their timely, quality, and transparent completion. He directed that land acquisition and transfer be completed expeditiously and on a priority basis. He also stressed the need to ensure that all construction projects are completed within the stipulated timeframe.

Maa Varahi Dham to be developed as a spiritual zone
Chief Minister Dhami stated that in the future, work will also be done towards developing the Vivekananda Circuit in Lohaghat and the Maa Varahi Dham as a spiritual zone. In addition, he directed the development of the area as a destination wedding hub and the establishment of a “Shaurya Sthal” to honor the brave martyrs of the army, police, and paramilitary forces.

The experience of devotees will be enhanced
Chief Minister Dhami stated that the project aims to enhance tourism, the environment, and the experience of devotees while preserving the spiritual, cultural, and historical identity of Tanakpur. The Chief Minister stated that this project will promote local employment and improve the quality of life of the people.
