This viral video is from Shahjahanpur district, Uttar Pradesh. The man in the video is named Vipin. Vipin had been in an accident a few days ago, and was admitted to the Government Medical College where he was undergoing treatment.

At around 4:30 pm on Saturday evening, when he felt the urge to drink, he dodged security guards and left the college. His mother was also out on an errand.

There was a liquor shop near the hospital. He purchased the alcohol from there. The video shows him with a bandage on his hand and a urine bag attached. In this state, Vipin purchased the alcohol from the shop, took water from a nearby tap, and drank it right there. He also kept whatever was left in his pocket. After a while, he returned to his ward and lay down on his bed, as if nothing had happened.
