A shocking case of theft has come to light from the Piran Kaliyar police station area of ​​Roorkee. Three to four miscreants attempted to cut a high-tension power line, but one man’s luck ran out. As he climbed the pole to cut the wire, he was electrocuted and left hanging on the wires.

The incident occurred late Monday night. According to reports, some thieves had gone to steal a high-tension power line in the forest of Mohammadpur Panda village. One of the youths climbed the pole when the power station staff turned on the line. The thief was electrocuted and was left hanging. His companions, seeing him electrocuted, fled the scene.

Admitted to hospital
Upon learning of the incident, electricity department officials arrived at the scene and, using a crane, lowered the burned thief down and immediately rushed him to the hospital. From there, doctors referred him to a higher center in critical condition.
