Uttarakhand: CM visits border village Milam, meets ITBP jawans and locals, makes these announcements

During his visit to Pithoragarh, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited the border village of Milam. On this occasion, he met with the Indo-Tibetan Border Police personnel and praised their spirit of national service and their dedicated work despite difficult geographical conditions.

The Chief Minister said that the soldiers’ contribution to national security and border protection is incomparable. Their discipline, hard work, and patriotism are inspiring to all. The Chief Minister also interacted with local villagers in the border area. He discussed issues related to development, education, health, employment, and infrastructure in the region and shared information about state government-run schemes.

Efforts being made to provide employment to local youth
The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the ‘Vibrant Village Program’ is being effectively implemented for the all-round development of border villages. Under this program, efforts are underway to connect these areas with basic amenities, provide employment to local youth, and make villages self-reliant.

Government committed to development of border areas: CM
The CM stated that the government is committed to the all-round development of border areas. In the coming years, road, communication, health, and education facilities will be strengthened in these areas to improve the living standards of border residents. The CM expressed gratitude to the citizens of the border areas for their cooperation and dedication to the nation.

CM Dhami made these announcements
Chief Minister Dhami announced that an indoor stadium will be built at Johar Club Munsyari. He also announced the beautification of the Nanda Devi Temple in village Milam. He also announced the construction of a community meeting center in village Bilju.
