On the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi, a mass marriage ceremony was held for the first time in Khatima. The Tanzeem Ulema-e-Ahle-Sunnat, a social Islamic organization, solemnized the marriages of seven poor, destitute daughters. Each daughter received gifts of essential household items worth ₹55,000 during the wedding. Thousands of people attended the event.

Tanzeem Ulema-e-Ahle-Sunnat, a leading Islamic organization in the Khatima area of ​​Udham Singh Nagar district, successfully organized a social marriage ceremony for the first time for the poor, destitute daughters of the Muslim community in a private banquet hall in Khatima. The organization solemnized the mass marriage ceremony of seven destitute daughters in a grand manner. Prominent figures from all religions in Khatima, including Khatima MLA and Deputy Leader of the Opposition Bhuvan Kapri, Nainital MLA Gopal Singh Rana, and Municipal Council President Ramesh Chandra Joshi, attended the event. They also expressed their appreciation for the first-ever social marriage ceremony in Islam. He also spoke about improving the marriage programs for poor, destitute girls in the future with the support of the entire community.

Fathers of the girls who were getting their daughters married at the mass wedding ceremony for poor girls from the Muslim community were overjoyed. They praised the Islamic social organization Tanzeem Ulema-e-Ahle Sunnat for organizing the first mass wedding ceremony for Muslim girls. They also expressed hope for similar events in other cities besides Khatima. Deputy Leader of the Opposition and Khatima MLA Bhuvan Kapri, who attended the event, praised the efforts of the social organization led by Hazrat Maulana Irfan-ul-Haq Qadri, patron of Tanzeem Ulema-e-Ahle Sunnat. He urged everyone to actively participate in such social activities.

Maulana Irfan-ul-Haq Qadri said that for the first time in Khatima, a Muslim social organization has organized a mass marriage ceremony on such a large scale. On this occasion, all the daughters were gifted essential items worth Rs. 55,000 each for setting up a new household. The organization also hosted a feast for thousands of local people, including the guests of the bride and groom.

It should be noted that the organization was initially going to organize the marriage of 15 couples, but for the first time in the Muslim community, due to the inability to find 15 couples for a mass marriage, this year the marriage of seven couples was organized. In the future, efforts will be made to make such events even more grand and divine with the cooperation of the entire community.
