On Thursday night, the victim was returning home from work at a company in the Pantnagar SIDCUL. Around 11:30 p.m., she got off the company bus on the highway. Her home was only 10 meters away. She was walking toward her home when suddenly, three young men in a white Scorpio first started making lewd comments. They then grabbed her hand and tried to drag her into the car.
The young woman screamed and ran back home
The young woman somehow managed to escape, screaming and running back to her home. Meanwhile, the angry family members arrived at the scene, as did passersby. Together, both families and the surrounding people beat up the three young men. The victim also pelted the accused’s Scorpio with stones.

All three accused have been detained and the Scorpio has also been seized. Police Inspector Brijmohan Rana stated that based on the woman’s complaint, Anil Kumar Arya, resident of Rajiv Nagar First, Bindukhatta, Chandan Arya, and Vinod Arya, residents of Shiv Mandir Car Road, Bindukhatta, have been detained and are being questioned. A case has been registered based on the woman’s complaint. The video of the incident is also rapidly going viral on social media.
