The Indian women’s cricket team made history by winning the World Cup for the first time. The team defeated South Africa by 52 runs in the final to win the title. The entire country is celebrating this victory. But everyone’s attention is focused on the women’s team’s victory parade. However, the BCCI has not yet made any official announcement regarding this.

Team India Victory Parade: What did the BCCI say about Team India’s victory parade?
Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary Devajit Saikia stated that no final date for the victory parade has been finalized. He said, “The victory parade has not been planned yet. I and other officials will attend the ICC meeting in Dubai from November 4th to 7th. A final decision will be made only after that.”

This clearly indicates that the BCCI is reluctant to take any hasty action. They do not want to risk the same incident that occurred during the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) parade.

We will learn lessons from RCB’s victory parade! In June of this year, RCB won its first IPL trophy. A victory parade was held in Bengaluru the following day to celebrate the victory. The massive crowd resulted in a stampede, resulting in several fatalities. In light of this incident, the BCCI is reluctant to rush into the women’s team’s victory parade.
